Chet Garner, The Daytripper, Tours Downtown Bryan

Chet Garner, host and producer of The Daytripper, announced alongside Chapter President Doug McDonald that Historic Downtown Bryan was named a “Great Place in Texas” by the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association in April 2018. Awarded to public spaces that have utilized City planning to create stronger and healthier communities, Downtown Bryan is a vibrant collection of locally owned eateries, boutiques, art galleries, and lofts. And the footprint of positive growth continues with the development of Downtown North anchored by the renovation of the old Ice House and discussions of master planning Midtown, the gateway between Texas A&M University and Downtown Bryan.
